You may want to post this over in the Keystone Cruisers clubhouse: PA- Keystone Cruisers - https://forum.ih8mud.com/forums/pa-keystone-cruisers.77/
Likely to find more people near Lancaster over there since they're more central/eastern PA centric. Best of luck sorting out your slave issue!
Very nice! That motor looks almost new.
Boy it's pretty quiet over here in the Steel City club. I see cruisers around Cranberry/Wexford, and when I'm in Pittsburgh metro area, but not much activity here on the forums. It'd be nice to have a more active cruiser community in the area. Maybe...
Any info on the interior front carpet; PN 585106A190E0? I placed an online order this morning with a local dealer only to be told it was no longer available and my order canceled. Now, my order was only canceled after the dealer emailed for VIN verification and I told them it was for my LX...
At this point I'm planning on a thorough cleaning, a layer of underlayment, and then installing new oem carpet over top. I probably won't bother with Dynamat or Second Skin on the floor, but the doors will likely get sealed up with it.
I have a laundry list of things to get done before spring that I've been putting off. Not as daunting as your list, but definitely takes time and patience. Oh, and I like your style:
I didn't have to mess with the control box at all. I just left it attached to the winch and ran pos/neg cables to the battery isolation switch which is (or will soon be) mounted in the battery compartment. It's just sitting in there loose right now.
With the ARB bumper, the control box has...
I know it's a bit of a stretch from $600, but you can get a brand new ARB non-winch bumper for around $850 shipped. If you shop around, I'm sure you can find a discount code for another $30-$50 off. I can't say I know of another aftermarket bumper readily available for less.
The ARB and 12k winch dropped my front end about half an inch. Left me with 1.5" rake so I added 20mm Ironman spacers up front to level it out a bit. Subtle difference, but looks much better IMHO.
Note my driveway is sloped to the rear, so makes the rake appear less obvious than it really is...
I just put the following into my LX. They were cheap and available locally at Best Buy.
Front doors - Pioneer TS-G650, 6.5" coax, $50
Back doors - Pioneer TSG-400, 4" coax, $50
The front doors needed a 1/4" spacer to clear the window track. I made some out of heavy duty, double-wall...
Very cool!
Installed Wits' End Useless Cubby insert and RAM mount so I can use all of my dirt bike/dual sport accessories. Also picked up a new keychain. 😁
I'm not going to make it. My wife came down with sore throat and headache yesterday evening and isn't feeling better this morning. No temp or other symptoms, but playing it safe and staying home. Hope to make the next one.
I'm 90% on attending right now. Trying to get a few last minute things buttoned up. Rausch Creek is 4 hours away from here, so 9am meet up works well for me.
I'm new-ish to wheeling and have never been to RC before. On top of that, I just picked up my 80 last weekend and haven't had time to...
