About the paint. Sorry been busy lately. The deal is, a local auto paint store in town (R & E Automotive Paint & Supply) makes up this camo kit like at walmart. 5 different colors (green, brown, black, ect.). They arresal can it themselves. Took about 8 cans. I can get the code from them and you...
Im putting a cruiser together for the wife. I need a set of rear half doors. Also the door side rear hinges. The body side is still on the truck. Its for a 65 FJ40.
Im looking for a set of inner and outter door handle for early style doors. Making half door and the doors I got dont have any. Just inners would be ok.
This one is a 76 with a 74 top. also got a 77 frame, engine, trans, and tranfer with disk front end and stock rear end. I have a 76 parts rig with good doors and top. So with a little work I should be able to get this one back together.
Heres some pics of the 65. Some Dumb azz put late model rear corner windows in the top. It is missing the rear barn doors, the f engine is half the there, and the front seats are gone.
I have 3 gas tank covers. All are in great shape. A red one from a 75, a white one from a 77 and a beige from a 77. I will try to get pics and shipping soon.
thanks
Thanks for the compliments, and comments. The floors where patched with 16 gauge steel. 2" and 3" wide random lenths. The center section behind the tranny hump was the hardest. I made it out of three pieces. 1st piece was to patch the holes. 2nd was the same width as the hump support...
its called camo brown... got it from the local auto body shop. I rattle canned the whole thing. its just a temp. paint job for the summer till I do the body work this winter. I did not even sand it just painted right over the factory rust.
Well I could not add anymore pics due to attachment space but here is a link to a free photo album I just created. Hopefully it works. I have tons more but this should give you an idea.

I thought I'd post my first thread. I bought my first fj40 in '02. I did a few things to it then lost my shop so it sat for 4 years. I finally got it back into the shop a couple of months ago. Here are a few pics from then to now. This is what it looked like when I got it home.
I just put a disk brake axle on my 70 fj40 and the drive shaft flange bolt hole dont line upwith the diff flange. They are both the square kind(diff side and driveshaft side) but the holes are just off a little. I looking for the yoke out, with the flange and a four speed transfer case shifter...
you are right the shackles are on backwards, I did not have a picture to go by when I got them and after they were on i found one. I am in the middle of the build right now and that is the bottom of the priority list, but thanks for the help.
