2003 Sequoia SR5 Boost Gauge Install

Replaced the vacuum/boost gauge with a Vacuum only gauge. See photo. From this forum, I got comments that the combo vacuum/boost gauge didn't make sense since I didn't really have a turbo on my vehicle. I just planned to read the gauge and use it as a fuel economy indicator. Through this...

2003 Sequoia SR5 Boost Gauge Install

hi @LandCruisinMy93 , First of all, thank you for the response. Ih8mud is one of the best forums and people are very knowledgeable. Yes you are right - boost gauges are used with superchargers. The one I have is a boost gauge although I think they're synonymous with a vacuum gauge? I'm old...

2003 Sequoia SR5 Boost Gauge Install

Dear Sequoia Forum, I installed this Boost gauge under the key ring slot of my 2003 Toyota Sequoia SR5. See photo. However I'm having an issue where I connected the 1/4 in rubber hose to what I thought was a vacuum line but there's not enough pressure. In the attached photos, I've labeled...

2003 Sequoia Ignition Key Ring Light and Firewall access

Yes! The 2003 Sequoia does have a light around the ignition key ring! I replaced mine with an LED T5 bulb and am happy - not only is it functional, it also looks beautiful! A very worthwhile project to do. Takes 15-20 minutes. Toyota Sequoia\Tundra Ignition switch ring LED light - YouTube

2003 Sequoia Ignition Key Ring Light and Firewall access

Good day! Does anyone here know if a 2003 Sequoia is supposed to have a light around the ignition key ring? I saw a Youtube video how to replace the ignition key light bulb for a 2007. If the answer is no for the 2003, can the ignition key cylinders be swapped across year models? Second Q is...

2003 Sequoia - key fobs suddenly stopped working!

Dear Sequoia forum, This morning my remote key fob for locking and unlocking the doors and opening the rear window was working fine. I brought it to the mechanic shop and when I picked the car up the key fob suddenly wasn't working. Strange.... I just replaced the battery on this. When I...

    2003 Toyota Sequoia SR5 4WD - Transmission Problem?

Thanks Fedtime for confirming the "D" burnt out bulb issue. I did see the posts in the Tundra forums and it said you need to remove the dashboard... take 1-2 hours? I just need to be careful and not cause more problems than just a burned out bulb. :)

    2003 Toyota Sequoia SR5 4WD - Transmission Problem?

I was looking at a 2003 Toyota Sequoia SR5 4WD this morning (Sun 1/29/23) to buy as a second vehicle. Everything looked good except when I shifted the lever to Drive, the "D" green indicator would not light up. Everything else, i.e., the P, R, 2, 3 the green indicators would light up. When...

    2005 Sequoia 3rd row seats

Hello, I was wondering if the 3rd row seats on a 2005 Toyota Sequoia "fold up"? i.e., you can fold down the back of the seat and then once folded push the whole seat UP to create more space in the cargo area? Are the rear seats also stowable? (for maximum cargo space)? Thank you so much

    FJ80 vs FZJ80

Dear ih8mud Forum, First time/Newbie buying a Toyota Land Cruiser. I've always wanted to have one and deciding between a Model 80 vs. Model 100. I am checking out a 1992 Land Cruiser with 240K miles. It's advertised with a FJ80 engine. In my research, most people say go with the FZJ80...
