    Troopy Headliner Adhesive???

Hey folks, I'm trying to put in a set of new OEM headliners for my troopy. However, I've noticed that the OEM headliner has a sponge like backing, and I've heard that regular 3M headliner spray might not work well with it. Has anyone who's done this before know what Toyota used, or have any...

Shocks and Springs for 75 series???

Same front spring setup since I have the arb bumper, winch, and lights. For the rear, I'm keeping it a bit lighter by going with the OEM spare tire mount instead of a full-on rear bumper. While I dig pop-up tops, I can't convince myself to chop off my roof, so I might just throw on a full-size...

Shocks and Springs for 75 series???

Does "extra heavy spring" mean the 1100lbs rear leaf (HZJ75-8+2-R)? According to my chat with Robinsons sales, it looks like the 600lbs (HZJ75-7+2-R) option should work for most cases unless you've loaded up with every kind of mods like rear bumpers, 35+ tires, a full drawer and kitchen, pop...

Shocks and Springs for 75 series???

Thanks for the info. When talking to Bilstein Australia, they recommended the B46 1004lt + BE5 H146 for the 2-inch lift variant. However, I came across an old thread where @Dprio34 mentioned the front shock as part number 24-010337, and the rear shocks as 24-011877 and 24-011884. (I'm still...

Shocks and Springs for 75 series???

As far as I know, Bilstein is not manufactured in the US, at least not for the 70 series. Air shipping is too costly for such a large package, so I might try combined freight if none of the US dealers carry these shocks.

Shocks and Springs for 75 series???

I called Bilstein USA a while ago, but no one there had a clue about the 70s. They told me to contact Bilstein UK, but unfortunately, no one there was willing to help either. Finally, I got a response from a dealer in Aus, and they confirmed the P/N. Now, I'm on the hunt for these shocks from...

Shocks and Springs for 75 series???

According to Bilstein.com.au, the P/N for the front is B46 1004LT, and for the rear is BE5 H146. Does anyone know if they are the same shocks for standard heights and a 50mm lift? They are listed on the site with the same part numbers but different SKUs. Does this mean they are two different...

Shocks and Springs for 75 series???

I believe Dobinson leaf springs are far superior to their shocks. I've heard from many people about Dobinson shocks leaking or breaking, and for me, that's a dealbreaker. I like Bilstein because of their reliability and performance. Even the B6 series holds up extremely well and rides...

Shocks and Springs for 75 series???

I tried my buddy's OME, and I wasn't a fan of the ride feeling. Sorry for any confusion; I mentioned 'modern' because those shocks are more popular for newer cars, not for their design.

Shocks and Springs for 75 series???

Does anyone have shock and leaf spring recommendations for HZJ75 with 2-inch (50mm) lift? From my research, most of the modern brands (King, Fox, Ohlins, etc.) do not make shocks for this dinosaur. Has anyone had experience with KYB, Koni, Rancho, etc.? I know Bilstein makes one, but based on my...

    Tires for 75 series, 265 or 285???

I currently have the exact wheel and tire combination on my troopy, and don't get me wrong it's a solid setup that stays close to the factory specs. However, I'm considering switching to a more aggressive combo because of the flares. As you mentioned, there are downsides such as challenges in...
