Yes you can swap sides. I did my 92. I recommend you get a new axle retaining ring as you will need to swap the birfs as the axles are different lengths. As you probably already know. Birfs are not the easiest to remove from the axle. There are videos on how to do it. I use a 3 inch diameter...
I have 33x10.5 on my 92. Was a big dog when I still had full time 4wd. Looked at regearing but decided to do the part time kit instead. That really helped with the hills but she is pretty slow still. May look at regearing next summer. Stock height and it is my daily winter driver.
If you are near Chattanooga I can help you. I just did mine for the second time. Not bad just messy and takes a bit of time. Will need a torque wrench if you want to follow the FSM. Might think about brakes at the same time as you will have the calipers off the rotor. I recommend oem. Just...
Finished the following: front Detroit locker, Aisin manual hubs, new birfs, replaced spindle, hub, rotor on driver side, knuckle job, new front brake pads and new wheel bearings and seals front. That was enough. Good to go for another 30k as long as I don't get stuck in the mud again and not...
I would remove oil pan and replace the cork gasket with the oem brand. Also would pull the side cover and replace that cork gasket. Not hard to do just tedious. Lots of scraping off of the old gasket. Heat gun seems to help. The oil pan tends to stick on there. Had to put a block of wood on...
Have not done that so not sure. Maybe call the guys at Justdifferentials.com and ask for some advice? Good luck, will keep an eye on this post as I too am curious.
You can always put one of these in place of the third row and not worry about the carpet back there. Made this at home. Was not to bad of a project and holds all the crap I keep in the rig. . Sans the Dog of course.
Nice cruiser. Have you started base lining yet. That will kill a few days and a few bucks. Did mine the first week I had it. Lots of nasty looking fluids came out of mine. Glad I did it. As for the interior you may want to put some heat and sound proofing down when you have the carpet out...
Quick question. My county does one of those sniff tests (they connect an exhaust sniffer to the exhaust pipe as I dont have and obd2 connection) on the exhaust pipe but no visual inspection, other than looking for the cats. Anyone know if I would have a chance of passing if I removed the egr...
I have the bosal system also. Easy to install and seems to be built pretty well. You will need some new gaskets and hanger hardware. Not too expensive.

Kernal. Yes the same tires and pressure. I think the squeaks and rattles have always been there, just could not hear them with the old exhaust. Now that I replaced the exhaust and did the suspension work all at one time they are now more noticeable. Yesterday I pulled the big 33s off and put...
