as far as fluid changes go, yes they are done regularly as with all the rest of the maintenance. I even extended my breather tubes up to hood heighth.
thanks for checkin' in.
hi all,
I regret to inform you that I have to sell my ride. :crybaby:
wife and I + two kids + 200lb. Mastiff + no place for storage on trips = need a new machine.
- she is a bikini-topped '73 FJ40 with soft doors. (my summer toy.)
- 350c.i. Chevy, Muncie 4 spd., 2-inch shackle...
man that link is sweet. pricy number once I get it across the border though. I was more hoping for a tank that I could get out of a wrecker that would go in even with a little modifying.
is there a fuel tank out of a certain vehicle model that works well for going in under the rear of the 40's? I want to change my front seats and move the tank under the truck. thanks
posted first message couple days ago, replies to show some pics of the machine. took me awhile to figure out how on this contraption but here goes (theres some of the Cruiser, my bro-in-law's Unimog 1300L, our Mastiff Hemi, and other miscellaneous):
