    Fuel Pump Relay Pinout

My truck is a late 1995 so it has OBD2. There are no codes reported and this circuit diagram for the fuel pump is a bit different. This circuit has a an FP pin on the check connector which makes it easy to check for voltage at the fuel pump. I have this connector and it has a spot for a pin...

    Fuel Pump Relay Pinout

Hey team, I've got a no power condition to the fuel pump. I've checked all of the fuses and relays and I'm down to the fuel pump relay. Does anyone have a pinout of this relay so that I can bench-test it?

    Starter Screech

The starter and mounting surfaces are clean and flat. The teeth on the flexplate look new. I'm going to see if I can get a camera into the bell housing access port. I should also check the runout in the flexplate for giggles.

    Starter Screech

The AC control is off. The system is not charged hence the pressure switch would not engage the compressor. Confirmed that the AC compressor pulley is free spinning and noise free when the engine runs. This noise is specifically when the starter is engaging/disengaging. Noise goes away when...

    Starter Screech

These are all Autozone starters and not OEM. The current and last starter is brand new High Output 2.2KW Everything was torqued to spec with a digital torque wrench per the installation instructions below. No mention of a green bolt. The orientation of the flex plate is correct and I did...

    Starter Screech

It's a new engine rebuild with a new AC compressor and Alternator. The AC isn't charged yet. The whining noise after the start is the Power Steering that needs to be bled. The actual start process is pretty rough sounding with a zing at the end of each starter disengagement.

    Starter Screech

All four starters made similar noise including the original. I was fighting the intermittant click no start problem and worked through it. The noise was a secondary issue. Now I'm focused on resolving the grinding noise.

    Starter Screech

I recently rebuilt the 1FZFE engine in my LC and had this starter screech both before and after the rebuild. The vehicle sat for a year before I pulled the engine and assumed that a new starter would correct the issue. I replaced the original with two reman starters and more recently a brand...

    Upper Oil Pan Side Bolts

I recently rebuilt my 1FZFE engine and I'm missing two of the common upper oil pan bolts that go on the side of the pan. My local Toyota dealership struggled to identify the part numbers for these bolts. Can anyone assist with these part numbers?

    Intermittant Starter Problem

I'm largely getting a click but no crank. Sometimes I get a whirring noise like the starter is spinning but the gear is not engaging the flywheel. Again, If I pull the starter and bench test it with the same battery and jumper cables, the gear fully extends and the starter spins. There is...

    Heater Hose Replacements (Source)

The key to successfully using silicone hose is to use spring clamps. There are many different types of spring clamps. I purchased the hose and clamps from Amazon. Search Amazon with the following...High Performance Silicone Heater Hose Clamps - For 5/8" ID Heater Hose x 10pc

    Intermittant Starter Problem

I recently rebuilt the 1FZFE engine in my 1995 land cruiser. Prior to the rebuild, the vehicle sat for a year. Just prior to pulling the engine, the starter was acting as if it was weak even with a new battery. It would only engage the flywheel and turn over the engine one in twenty attempts...

1FZFE Transmission Fill Tube Vent Fitting

I'd like to recap my findings here as I believe this may help others. There is a breather port at the top of the transmission and base of the bell housing with a nylon fitting that commonly breaks off. The part number is 90930-03098. Removing the broken segment was a bit of a challenge. The...

1FZFE Transmission Fill Tube Vent Fitting

The transmission dipstick tube has two vent ports with hoses attached. There's a long hose and a short hose. This fitting is on the short hose on the opposite end from the dipstick tube.

1FZFE Transmission Fill Tube Vent Fitting

More info, I've reached out to Toyota and they show the part in their parts diagram but it has been discontinued and there is no part number available.

1FZFE Transmission Fill Tube Vent Fitting

I'm rebuilding a 1995 80 Series LC 1FZ-FE engine. The transmission fill/dipstick tube has two vent hoses. The shorter hose has a plastic fitting that broke off. I have no idea where this goes or the specific part that is broken. Does anyone recognize the part in the picture below?
