    80series steering box measurements?

Thanks very much 💪 I guess that is around 88-89milimeters. Which means it is 4-5milimeters larger than a 60series housing.

So it is a toyota 80box? Well I think the difference is the size of the piece where the label - made in the usa sits. The diameter of that that.

1988 HJ61 12HT Land Cruiser project Denmark - update July

Yeah - I do also like the idea of using original parts from the model - ordering hj61 brakespads and they fit. Imaging if the car shifts ownership and it is rebuild with all kind of different models 😅 but you right! It is worth the upgrade. Bigger wheels, more weight etc - needs more stopping power

Last brackets made for the alubox. Also got the ARB awning brackets. Unfortunately the ARB black alubox awnings are still on their way from the dealership. They will not be here before the summer holiday, so the dealership got me a couple of awnings for free use - great service! I also got the...

1988 HJ61 12HT Land Cruiser project Denmark - update July

Today I finally change the clutch! The reason is a freakin noisy sound driving. It stopped when clutch was engaged. So I went for it! It was in great shape, but the bearing in the crankshaft was toast. Now it sounds like a traktor without a very high tone :) that's is just lovely. Found a faulty...
