    71 FJ40 US specs. Correct sender for the year and engine(F). Bought from Crusier Corps, and confirmed correct part number. Getting power to the sender and resistance is changing. When I turn the engine off, the needle on gauge goes towards warm.

    Fuel Delivery Issues

    I’m priming the carb by removing the fuel line coming from the fuel pump, pouring a small amount of fuel in the primary side of the carb and cranking the engine. It takes about 10 seconds for a 16oz water battle to fill with fuel at that point.

    I replaced it prior to replacing the fuel pump; I can get another one tomorrow and try that out. Would that cause there to not be any fuel visible in the filter? I replaced the fuel filter with a clear one.

    Mine is a 71 with the long jump seats. I recently acquired a SOR Sport bar as well, so trying to fit the two together. They don’t have any sort of instructions they ever put together though.
