    My '74 appears to have 2 steering stabilizers. Is this normal? One (if I'm looking at the pic I took correctly) is attached to the frame and the steering centering box and the other u-bolted to the tie rod and the other end to a bracket off the diff maybe.... Just curious because I want to...

    It's where all the Subaru kids go when they grow up. There is a serious trend in people trading in Subarus on Tacomas. I took a slightly longer route here myself. 1st gen Pathfinder > Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX > Dodge Durango > Saabaru > Subaru > Subaru > Audi > Tacoma > FJ40
