Real estate market out there makes no sense 😂. My dad's house is way out in Carnation and still well over 1mill which is like 4 times the worth of our house in MI on a lake with double the lot size. Tri Cities is way more liveable imo over the constant flow of rain. Enjoy!
If you have levinson audio, you also may need to get into the audio settings in the OEM headunit side. Each channel has it's own EQ that you need to adjust to your liking if you went from high everything to normal could be why it sounds quieter.
I don't have beatsonic, but there are two different part numbers they sell. I would double check that you have the correct one for 2010-2013. If you do then I would follow the beatsonic install for the 2010-13 version. The entire headunit is completely different.
Clunking around yeah, but I had bought these like a year ago when I did the fronts and just never got to the rears. When I was unbolting the clamps the whole assembly was moving around side to side quite easily too. 150k miles on those. Also something else I noticed. I used to have the lean but...
Yeah I had stock Chevy rims on my last rig, no protection for the wheel and very frequently aired down to 8PSI on Load E tires 255/80/17 on a 17x8 wheel. Never had a tire issue. The only issue I ever ran into was a poor engineering issue with the front CV axles that were too short (all 1st gen...
Skinnier wheel = less flex to fit on the wheel, more contact patch with the ground because it can really flatten out. Same concept as skinny tires. Personally I'm a skinny fan and have been to places others need both lockers to traverse and with the right throttle control I can go up and down...
I second this. You would be surprised how replacing parts does not solve an issue and the actual issue is intermittent connectivity through pins in the connectors not retaining tension or just lost connectivity through the harness. I would power it all on and test voltage at the sensor pins and...
Haven't been around Tri-Cities off road, but if you make it out to Moscow, there are tons of logging roads past Troy on Hwy 8. Love that area as it's full evergreen forests for miles unlike most of Eastern WA. I imagine over by Walla Walla there are a ton of closer trails in Oregon Butte area.
The only reason a software update would be needed is if there is a TSB specifically for this, or NHTSA/EPA/CARB have mandated a fix. In which case, a software issue like that would be pretty severe for Toyota to have messed up on. I would highly doubt software would fix a diagnostics issue...
If it is not an actual stuck solenoid, this tracks. Diagnostics typically reference engine or transmission speed for amount of revolutions that each diagnostic will have to fail to actually set a code. Good to know might just need a new sensor or wiring for the sensor! Cheap fixes are the best...
Correct. Anything post build, for sure you should be able to see how many miles were put on since the build. Really you'd just be looking at the miles since clear data. The rest wouldn't be populated unless the seller cleared and let it sit to sell. I did have a vehicle back in the day, the...
That only works if there was not a hard battery reset. There is a small chance it would still read if the battery was disconnected for a short period. But usually a battery reset also clears codes and those counters once the temporary memory storage clears. Generally speaking it's pretty common...
Just FYI, you guys might be going down too many rabbit holes. ODB codes are set in 1 of 3 ways. Type A, B or C. Type A is immediate, B is two failures of X key cycles (generally 2 in a row) and C won't set a MIL but lives in the background with no action. Often times OEM's will have 2+ DTC's...
Just replaced mine from a failure. OEM part number is from Denso if you care. But these also worked for me (2013 premium): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NQ05U24/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Got a Noco GB40 battery starter. You can just leave it plugged into a USB port, so it's always topped off. My main battery was on it's way out. I started my truck at 20 and below 4+ mornings and still only had 50% charge. Would highly recommend buying one of those rather than relying on your...
