When i bought my 06 the trans fluid was original at 236k. I have slowly but surely been replacing the fluid via drain and fills with Valvoline MaxxLife. It stays cooler according to the ScanGuage and performace is great. I see no reason to not start drain and fills at regular short intervals...

I also have a drip from this area but it is not the rear main. It is the input shaft seal on the trans. If your trans fluid is in good condition and still red it's easy to distinguish between the two.
But if the trans fluid is old and dirty it can look like oil that would suggest a rear main...
No experience with the ORS table but I do have a Victory 4x4 table on my 06. The inch worth of protrusion from the back door isn't really a factor and shouldn't warrant removal for anything really.
