Crazy story. The original owner bought this 1967 Stout at some dealership in WA state in 1967, had it 6 years and traded it in at Longview Toyota in Longview WA in 1973. The owner of the dealership ("Toyota Joe" Hutchings") kept it and tucked it away in his shop for almost half a century. He...
Looking for a solid driver if anyone is looking to part with their 55. Some body work is ok, but I’d also pay for one that is already done. Upgraded powertrain ok, original powertrain ok. I’m pretty open, as long as it’s not full of cancer. Thanks, guys.
Got a new FJ Cruiser....again. Had an early Voodoo Blue, then my TRD Edition, now a white one with auto, Offroad pkg, and a few other things. Got it with simple steel wheels.
This is going to be my wife's daily driver so I'm not going to do too much to it. She wanted a Trail Teams Edition...
I am looking at picking up a 40th anniversary Cruiser with 220k. I'm new to this series and have a few questions.
1. Any common problems? I've owned a few FJ62s and the trannies seem to go out around this time. Anything I should look for?
2. Were these 40th anniv editions much...
I'm sure I'll end up with some form of Landcruiser again in the near future, but for now I am going to be without one for a while. Just posted my 2007 TRD on Craigslist today. I'm taking a pretty big hit considering the fact that I've put about ten grand into it, but that's the nature of the...
This trailer was built when I bought it, but it was pretty rough. I cleaned it up, slapped some Bushwacker flares on it, some Warrior Products diamond steel corners, ripped off the cheesy wooden box on the front and replaced it with the metal one with an expanded steel floor. It looks pretty...

If anyone has any interest in getting a set of Bushwacker flares installed on their vehicle, let me know ASAP. I have a GREAT hook up for you if you have a flexible schedule and can part with your rig for a day or two while they're being installed.
Bill Burke is coming to Tillamook next weekend for a 2 day guided 4x4 trip. I reserved spots for 8 rigs and just had 2 rigs back out so if anyone is interested, it is $445 per rig divided amongst however many people are riding with you. Not cheap, but it's supposed to be a great learning...
Bushwacker is almost done with their pocket style fenders for the FJ Cruiser. From what I hear they are going to look terrific. I will post pics of the first rig they put them on in a few weeks when they bring it over.
On the Toyota site, it says "rear differential lock working in conjunction with A-TRAC" is part of the All Terrain Package on the 2008 FJ. I read on a post somewhere that the '07 TRD SE does the same, but it didn't work for me the other day. Did I miss something, or is that not the case with it?

I just bought a non-Toyota car due to the fact that Toyota doesn't make a car with looking at in my opinion, and have searched for a decent forum to find out what people are doing to them. Know what I have found?....
Bob: I just got one!
Al: Me too!
Harry: Whoa. Cool...
Am going to be towing about 4000 pounds up to Canada in a couple months and was wondering if anyone has towed a decent distance. Being a fairly short wheelbase, has anyone had any difficulty?
This thing looks awesome! Anyone know anything about them? I don't need a full brush guard so this looks perfect. Shouldn't add too much weight, works with factory bumper, and bolts right onto the frame. Any reason not to buy this thing?
Below is the mail I got back from TRD regarding the supercharger for the FJ. This might be old news, but it was news to me.
Thank you for your interest in TRD. The supercharger kit for the Toyota 4.0L engine is in development and ETA is Fall 2007. At this time, we do not have pricing or...
I am going to be towing some decent distances with about 4000 pounds of Silver Bullet (Airstream trailer) behind me this summer. Am I going to need some sort of sway control? I have never towed with a rig this small before and have never towed anything very large. Are there different options...
Here's a few things you should know for installing a trailer brake controller:
1. buy the wiring converter from Toyota. There are two modules. one plugs in under the dash and the other plugs in under the hood. Without them the turn signals won't work.
2. mount the controller on the fuse box...
If anyone has installed a trailer brake controller I am trying to figure out where I can put it so I am not banging my knee on it constantly. ??? Any ideas?
