There are a few manufacturers of Bluetooth modules that wire in line with the stock system. Grom Audio is one. I have their BT3 unit and it simply adds another source called “CD Changer” when I press the CD button. From there I can stream. It also has a 3.5mm input or even a USB input option...
The internet + fluid talk = hell hole.
Delo ESI in my diffs and Delvac in my t-case. Sorry, AMD.
I disagree with his recommendation to run AGM batteries in Toyotas or Lexii not set up with that charge profile.
But I would use him for my service if for some insane reason I lived in Chicagoland.
If you look at additional markings on the reservoir itself, there is a PA6 stamp on the firewall side of the reservoir and a PA6-GF30 stamp on the bottom.
These markings exist exist on the GM reservoir and the other Toyota model reservoirs.
Images are from genuine Toyota part 443606210
Direct side-by-side comparison.
It was pure luck I saw the exact same reservoir bottle under the hood of a 2006 GTO. So I looked it up and then compared to images on Partsouq.
If you reverse image search the reservoir you can then see other applications, which is how I know it’s in other...
I verified the diameters of the nipples fit the Toyota hoses perfectly.
This seems to be an "off the shelf" part that Toyota (and other manufacturers) used in a bunch of applications. The 92-01 Camry, the 95-04 Avalon, to name a few. But each Toyota res comes with a specific bracket, inflating...
I went through this thread pretty thoroughly, so if this has been covered feel free to roast me.
I found a cheaper alternative to getting a replacement reservoir for these trucks if you aren't in need of the metal bracket. I can thank an old Motorweek review segment of the 2006 Pontiac GTO for...
Lot's of threads here on where to start. Here's something you can do for free right now:
- Get Techstream running on a laptop
- Scan for codes and report back here
Once you share info here the incredible brain trust will provide pathways for you. This could be something as simple as a height...
Lynn did my truck back in 21’. I had the rivets and trim handy. He also did some touch up work since my glass was installed too low so water pooled in the upper trim.
I still need to pester insurance to see if they will cover Lexus glass since the glass Lynn put in has a chip in it now.
I would be wanting to use a thread chaser in this instance as you want to just clean the threads.
When I lived in TDI land I would use this 10mm spark plug rethread tool to chase the threads of glow plug holes as they had the same fragility as these valve cover bolts.
“Engine seals” for $5900 makes me LOL every time. Go find a full 2UZ for that money.
Seems like a way to gouge the uneducated buyer. I bet they would throw some snake oil in for free!
