Having a vibration coming from a sightly loose slip yoke.
Would grease fix the problem or should i go ahead a get an new yoke?
And any specific grease? I do not have clunk...i have a slightly blurry rear view mirror.
I am going to have ujoints done and a balance of shaft soon anyway...
Yeah I snapped off two of mine. Drilling and tapping it sucked. Good Luck! You can get the replacements at your local dealer. Mine had them in stock. I would replace as many of them as you can. Mine were all messed up right near the head and washer.
Some fool welded my exhaust to my frame. I am going to have to replace most of it. head to cats, cats, and muffler to tip. Should I get all OEM or do an after market stainless steel w-no cats. Anbody got any wisdom in the exhaust corner of cruiser world?
Just wondering if anybody knows what the allen head bolt with the spring inside is that is situated just above the center diffs fill plug? I am asking because i removed it thinking it was the fill plug. I put it back on without removing the spring!! Hope I didn't screw up anything. Pun intended!
A friend of mine who lives up the street also has a "totaled" jeep just past the lowhead dam at the end of Laurel street! it spent a few days underwater!!!
About how much fluid should I expect to add to the front and rear diff's if i drained them? And any suggestions to a good 90 weight gear oil to use for this application?
