What is the general consensus on a radiator supplier/brand if OEM is not available? I don't have time to wait for an OEM option to ship who knows when. My local NAPA can get a Denso next day for $450. Any connections on reliable aftermarket options? Thanks!
Just saw this at my local auto store and was curious if anyone had any info/used it/etc. It would be cheaper than Toyota branded coolant, but more importantly easier for me to obtain. I'll be replacing the radiator soon and needing a full flush/refill.
I'm not 100%, but I believe the "key sense" system, (if you're referring to what recognizes your correct key with the chip), might be in the light up ring that you take off early in the removal process. It should have 1 plug and the green light bulb that plug into it.

Nope. 2001 with nav. I actually like the setup and I want to keep the nav/tape/ cd changer the way it is. I just want to bypass a dead amp and was gathering more recommendations before I make my choice. Thanks!
I'm looking at doing this too because I don't understand paying around $300 for a 20 year old amp that's known to blow anyways. Do you have a recommendation on a good replacement. I may replace the sub one day for a little more bass, but I really just want a simple radio.
Completed my Redarc TowPro install. Pretty proud of the OEM switch look.

I really don't know what I did. It started out as replacing the ignition cam and adding trailer brakes. Now the dash is off, the passenger seat and the center console are out, and I found this mess. 🤣😭
Now I have to decipher all of this and figure out what I'm keeping!

At this point, I would say for me it's the ebay option. Once you learn how to do it, it's not that difficult and we'll see how long it lasts. The cost of any others is so much higher that I can't justify the price increase.

Update just for anyone having the same issues in the future:
#1 Pushing the brass tab in and out with a pair of pliers while rotating the whole, unbroken cam counter clockwise will work the cam past the steering lock and free it.

Yeah, I'm not referring to the key switch. That comes out easily. I was referring to the cam piece behind the key switch. The piece that is known for breaking. But I can't find any information on how to remove an unbroken one.
But it can only go into the housing 1 way, correct? I had the little tab on the bottom pointed towards the left, inserted the cam, and rotated clockwise 90⁰ until the brass tab is at the 4 o'clock position.
How do I "release" an unbroken cam so that I can pull it out and verify its position?
