Correct - only way to get a manual is the 5 ft. box. If you want quad cab and a 6 ft. bed, you're looking at the TRD-OR. Personally, I love having the long bed, but I DD it and find uses for it all the time. The price difference between the Pro and the OR is substantial and I think the OR is...
Maybe the karma of 14 years of daily driving the FJ40 will help me stay away from the douchy path. Trust me, we know there are some tools out there driving Tacos.......
Tucker,
I've been casually looking to replace my 40 I sold 6 years ago when my twins were born for the past few years and it may be time to take the plunge..... I would be interested in both the cruiser and the tub.
Question - what generation in the aqualu tub?
Thanks,

It wouldn't surprise me if many mfgs use the same switch BUT the one pictured came with the Bestop 'TrailMax' seats that I used in my 40. They may be able to sell just the switch............

Wait - that would be Rascal 6.0 - you can't skip a stage - You have to go through all the trouble of building a pseudo 45 cruiser before you go to the tube buggy thing! :D
Seriously - looks great, Bruce
Nope - the LCAH kit uses brackets on the front which extend forward (lovingly called 'rock catchers' by most). This kit came from MAF. Personally, I've run this kit and don't think that it's too bad. Would I do it again......No, I'd do a

I love finding stuff like that that works - look at the picture above - a friend gave me the net that fit perfectly between the roll bar uprights - trunk net out of a Ford (taurus, I think)
I looked at the US Netting cargo net when I did mine - nice but very expensive. window nets from Summit are about 20.00 each (24x24 or 18x24). If you can piece together a couple to fit your space it's alot cheaper than any pre-made net like US Netting. I think I paid the auto upholstry shop...
Easy way to make a strong net:
1. Get a couple of racing window safety nets from Summit
2. some 1" webbing and some nylon quick release slide buckles (like those found on everyday backpacks) from your local fabric store
3. Sew them together or have a local auto upholstry shop sew them...
That's called enforced neatness - what happens when your wife parks in the other half of the garage. Actually kind of surprised that you're still allowed in the garage, Bruce! :D
You don't know how much I wish I could swap out wheels - Sold my baby after 13 years of building and screwing with her. Patiently looking for the next cruiser........
