I gave up on drilling/tapping bolts a long time ago. Get a mig/rig welder with shielding gas, grab a scrap bolt and weld it to the broken bolt. Works for recessed broken bolts and regular ones.
TCKWP298 Gates belt and pump kit with new o rings, tensioner, idlers. FBT-002 Aisin fan bracket. The old gates pump had a plastic pump and the new one was metal so perhaps it was redesigned. ~$410 all in for the parts.
Greater Toledo area. Don’t see many 100’s around here.
Water pump, timing belt, fan bracket, oil change, surface shield for the frame and underbody. 212,700 miles. Old timing belt was in great condition. Gates water pump had multiple leaks. Too long 12mm we’re loose. O rings were leaking. Fan bracket looked original and had a crunchy bearing.
Rebuilt my master cylinder today. Cold weather starts the pump would spit and cycle for a minute or two. Replaced the booster motor a few months ago. Hopefully this fixes it. The old master guts didn’t look damaged but the brake pedal is much more responsive now.
Installed new OEM hub flanges. Took care of 50% of the clunk. Replaced the fuel filter and removed the V8 badge. (Thought the hatch was plastic and put a small crease in it. Not impressed with myself there)
