    No more squeal! Added all the necessary hardware for the brake pads and calipers... She still does an occasional grab at slow speeds but not as often as before, but atleast the noise is gone... She drives great! It sucked knowing I installed new parts for my car to have other problems unknown...

    I get what you're saying... the messed up part is there were none the first time I change the pads and rotors and I never had a squealing issue... these are the exact same pads I used the last time since they were under warranty. I feel like a total noob 🤦 Do you think the anti rattle springs...

    Shim kit? Umm to be honest I don't know of any shim kit... I just did rotors and pads as normal... and I didn't see any shims... can you post a pic to give me an idea on what I'm looking for thanks so much

    Maybe the issue could be the anti rattle springs not being on? The pads I got didn't include any hardware and the set of brakes and rotors I used before didn't need them as they made no noise

    I just replaced my brake and rotors on my 99 lc and when done I'm getting a noise more like the brake pads are grabbing and squeals... really doesn't effect the driving but maybe these springs not on there could be my issue? It's an on and off issue and happens half the time I'm driving.
