I ended up digging around. The wires in the rhd are in the right side. I found, since I have the full time (AWD) version…I can shift the cdl while moving. I’m guessing it’s because of the viscous coupler in the T-case???

I picked up my Hdj81 last month and took it to a LC repair shop. One of the issues was it was diving and leaning into the front right corner. If you were driving straight down the street you had to steer left to keep it straight. It was real bouncy and would sort of wallow especially driving in...
Wy not? I registered mine. Actually did a fuel swap on an register vehicle. Try taking it to a remote place in the central valley (Merced, Stockton) and I think they will let you go through. LA area will send you to a ref station.

I did the CDL switch mod AND the 7pin mod.
Does anyone know at what speed, in high range, is it safe to turn the CDL on...
Does the 7 pin mod work for the ‘92 Hdj81, RHD? I mean...where do you find the wires? Are they in the left (passengers side) or on the right (drivers side)? AND...are they the same color ?🤷🏻♂️
