    Have a TH350 mated to a factory Toyota Tcase, came out of my '71 FJ40; Both worked as expected when I pulled them out (I swapped to a manual). Trans comes with a torque converter and flexplate for a first gen SBC Located in San Jose, CA; Looking to get $300 for the pair.

    Steering in this thing has always been iffy. If you tried to turn while parked, it works fine with the engine off, but once the PS pump fires up the steering locks up unless you are moving.     It's an aftermarket HEI unit from Accel. One of the ugly gray ones. Was on the rig when I bought it, seems to work just fine.

    One recommendation from my own experience. Unless you need other features from the 10 PIN harness, don't use it to power the tach output. Lot of extra wiring for a tach, just hook the tach direct to the distributor.

    I thought about doing a hybrid rear end but at that point I'd just have something custom built. For now, the 8" will serve my needs just fine. Not a hard core offroader, mostly fire roads and such.

    Yeah, hopefully someone will want the whole setup. My interest in tearing it apart is pretty minimal. Haven't seriously tried to sell it yet so we'll see if there is any local interest when I get around to it. Meantime it makes a great lawn ornament.....

    Could be worse....mine looked like this when I bought it.... Was gonna be really tough to fix it. A member here was nice enough to send me a good dash so I swapped it out.
