    1996 HZJ75 with 1FZ engine

Yes the C (orU ) Channel bumber on the Troopy.. good for a bush bar, ie to push through bush, and take out the odd tree that needs an extra hard nudge. The ARB bar on the dark wagon is a excellent bar too, hundreds of thousands of them made, ARB have been the masters here in OZ.. For years this...

DIY ideas please to soften 75 ride

Flat out with other work... but have finally serviced both the 75s, took the seats out, one now has new floor pans welded in. Took the roofs off to inspect.. plenty of angles and rubbers, no wonder they leak and some rust... Roof was heavy for 2 to lift off in one piece. I took the roo bars...

(all these particular roads are corrugated, except for a sweet time after grading).. I pulled over white faced expecting a flat tyre, but...

    255/85R16 on stock HZJ75

Ive had a bunch of 80 series and I preferred the 7x16 rims (rather than 8x16) for 285/75/16 tyres, so as to keep the side walls in a bit, and less exposure. In the bush and grass where you cant see all the time, the side walls can cop a hammering. So I recon the 255s on 7" rims, (or 6,5) that...

DIY ideas please to soften 75 ride

Hi All, new member.. I am starting building 2x Landcruiser 75 series tray backs into open top safari 4x4s... ie to drive into the aussie bush as licensed. Then remove roof, windscreen and doors for my safari business, bush work, creeks, harsh rocky terrain, then 5 months later roof, windscreen...
