I failed a recent vehicle inspection for a frayed driver’s seat belt. Anyone have any aftermarket recommendations? Been searching the webs and haven’t found much info on them. Just a few.
Took the ol girl out after having her setup for a bit, from working in her… when I got home I found a unidentified wire hanging from the wheel well… not sure if it’s related but the LC won’t even attempt to crank now… can someone tell me what it is and where it goes?
Pretty sure there’s no way to diagnose this over the internet, but looking for things to check. 1992 LC, runs perfectly till I get to operating temp then I get a really low idle like it wants to stall… any ideas of where to start would be appreciated. Plugs and wires are new, so I can skip those.
In the earliest of stages to do an LS swap on my 92 LC. Priced around FB Marketplace for a donor engine, and figured I’d give Mud a shot too. Let me hear what you got.
Getting a clunk when going from P to R, then it clicks when backing up. After working itself up to temp, it almost seems like the gears are losing power and I get a low idle… is my transmission almost shot?
I had an ATF line burst and throw ATF all over my undercarriage, so much I was cleaning it off the back windshield… long story short, I’ve tried soap and water and degreaser… still smoking when I travel on the Hwy etc… should I be concerned about a fire or just keep short tripping it till it...
Finding a stud bolt to replace this one has been about as frustrating as removing and reinstalling the fan clutch behind the shroud. I can’t find them anywhere and CruiserParts are out of stock.
Had a transmission line bust a few weeks back. Replaced them and got it topped off with ATF. Went for a short drive and after parking noticed a coolant leak. Looks like it’s coming from the radiator core… just swapped out the rad like 4 months ago. Don’t know if I want to laugh or cry.
Getting these hoses off were a bitch in themselves… does anyone have any old Indian tricks for getting them back on? Only thing I can figure is taking the entire front of the truck off
Bought this about 5 months ago to do the rebuild myself. Chickened out and had someone do it for me. Paid $100 + shipping. Just wanting to just get the cash back. So, $100 + shipping and it’s all yours.
I looked this up and about 90% sure this is a water temp sensor, but not sure which to order. It’s on the left side of the thermostat housing, when facing the vehicle. Anyone got the part number by any chance?
Really hoping someone can help me out… changed the water pump, now this pulley won’t line up with the two studs… am I putting it on wrong or what can I do?
Looking to do a cooling system overhaul on my 1992 LC… been searching the webs and see that O’Reilly’s has a Murray Radiator Part#: 431525… has anyone used this rad or have an opinion on the best replacement? Any help is appreciated.
I have searched high and low and can’t find the correct OBD code reader/adapter, that doesn’t cost $200+… can someone post a link for the correct one? Much obliged for any help.
