I've pics of neither, only intermittent discussions on Aussie 4WD forums as most use ARB or TJM. There is always lots of discussion about leaking ARB units.
You're correct however, given the right conditions the pins on either will snap, would be interesting to get a metallurgist to run...
That's like most in Oz are now going for the TJM air locker over the ARB one. It's much better quality and doesn't have the air leak issue so common in ARB.
Ahhhhhhhh, now your making more sense. You want the VX Sahara one with the sunroof option. The overhead console on that has the sub tank and altimeter gauges as well as two auxilary cabin lights and sun roof controls.
Can't help you with a VIN # for that one sorry but drop an e-mail to Mal in...
From an Aussie, I 'd get a Richmond Gear LockRight. Had one in the rear of my previous truck and loved it. Wouldn't touch an Aussie with a barge pole, poor quality metal and poor quality finish. They have a bad name here, we prefer the LockRights.
Not even the top of the line VX Sahara had lights in the visors here in Oz. Sub tanks are common in all versions of the 80 here. HZJ80 (naturally aspirated 1HZ diesel motor), HDJ80 (turbo diesel 1HD-T, 1HD-FT and 1HD-FTE) and FZJ80 (1FZ petrol rubbish) are the engine types. Model variants are...
That's correct, Australia has never used brake lights as turn indicators either on vehicles or trailers, silly idea. Even American vehicles imported to Oz have to have the brake and turn indicators seperated, turn indicators must be amber in colour. Interestingly, one of the Australian car...
The flat plug is one of the standard types here in the land of Oz. We also have two versions of a round connector. All connectors can be either 5 or 7 pin.
Personally I'd never use anything other than the flat 7 pin, I've had no end of trouble with round connectors, never had a problem with...
Keep looking for other than ARB products. Even here in Oz ARB would be a last reort for this sort of stuff. Plenty of better quality products at better prices, with the exception of the roof rack.
My 2 cents worth.
Here's why Aussies perfer diesel trucks with a snorkel. Video taken during recent flooding in a town north of Sydney.

Bear80 has replied to me so I'll try and help him out, along with a few others that are after some other stuff.
I'll let you all know what the price is but again Bear80 has first right of purchase.
How hard and how much will depend on your skills and the availability of equipment to manufacture the rest if the filler neck.
Watch the Oz E-Bays site as the complete assy's come up often and sell relatively cheaply.
If you're desperate get back to me as I know where an Oz 80 is being...
