My boost sensor works when it reaches 2800 to 3200 rpm . The temp sensor near the starter is replaced , engines runs a bit better , no uneven idles .... But when before i shift to D , engine dies in 3 seconds .... Now when i shift into gear , engine dies after 3 to 5 meters . I tried to adjust...
The vdj and Lj78 has a total difference of about 4 inch , 2inch per side ... 1vd engine and a regular average gm v8-350 is about 3 inch wider on a 1vd engine . But its ok . I dont think anyone will use a diesel in the usa if so many 3uz or 3fz are in the junk yards for cheaper swaps . Unless...
Removed the old fuel heater type fuel filter assembly and uaed a new 1kd.ftv fuel filter like what i had in 2012fortuner 3.0 . Then tomorrow i will get a mew temp sensor and maybe a boost sensor ... the 1kz.t prados have a different boost sensor (map sensor) . So will see what i can get amd...
If u fix it , u will need while set valve shims ... liner back to standard size pistons will help . Crank , dont think it will reach that damaged ... check also cyclinder heads if cracked .... here is some pictures of my own build from a broken timing belt ... pictures attached back wards...

Seen 4 . Its in thailand .. rodzing thailand even has ln106 using 2uz engines ... lots of engines in thailand ... 1kd.t 2kd.t 1kz.t 1hd.t 1vd.t ... i have now a 2017 lc200 with 1vd.t . Measurred all the width size etc ... would clear lj78 engine bay .
If you dont mind me suggesting .. in the philippines and thailand , some lj78s use the lc200 diesel engines 1vd.t . Super savings on diesel and has more then enought torque 600nm ... if straight 6 like 1hd.t or 2fz 3fz engines , you will have issues in engine bay . V8 gas maybe 1uz 2uz engines...

I reattached the vac lines and boost sensor after cleaning it . Amd still no boost light / green led light on dash . Will get a new temp sensor and see . Maybe what i fixed was damaged . The glow plug timer was not working , after i soildered the wires back to the socket , the glow plug sensor...
Thanks for the suggestion ... i was looking for another ecu to test . Hard to find . But i am sure the injection pump that i have is a bit different . It has no vac lines but 2 plugs at the side and one on top for the spill sensor .
My boost is connected . Some of these are old pictires before i overhauled the engine . I also had my rewiring redone and repaired the temp sensor , my auto glow plug worked again . I was looking for a replacement (green temp sensor) , after i repaired my ecu temp sensor ..all these problems...
