    Help identify caliper bolt

It’s an assembly bolt. The caliper is actually two pieces that are bolted together.

    Help identify caliper bolt

Pretty sure you’re missing the upper caliper housing bolt. There is 2 bolts that hold the caliper together. Upper and lower. Surprised it’s not leaking. Look at the back side. Not sure if that’s even available separately. Might have to go to a salvage yard or replace the whole caliper.

    Odometer fix

When you order them from Lexus or Toyota it’s comes with the mileage ordered. It can only be done with the vehicle being repaired by the dealer. You can not order a new one with correct mileage over the counter. There maybe a speedometer repair shop that can correct your mileage.

Tips for Installing new CV Axle Seal (I keep bombing)

Those seals can be tricky. Even after doing 50 plus of them I will still get one come back leaking. That’s even with the factory seal installer tool. Best advice I can give is to use a little grease on the spring so it doesn’t pop out when installing it, make sure it’s a OE seal and a lot of...

97 4runner- Hydrolocked & blown head gasket - what to do?

There are looking up the wrong labor op/time. 25 hours would be for a bare short block including transferring all the components , including cylinder heads. A long block (used motor) should be around 12 hours plus or minus for transferring parts.

    Builds Chicken's GX

The first set started cracking and foggy inside within a couple weeks. After fighting with them and having to pay a deposit I got them to send me another set. That set got cloudy and started peeling on the outside within 3 months. Ignore there website reviews and take a look at the google...

What Did You Do With Your 120 Today?

I’ve been turning wrenches on Toyota’s for 20plus years and hardly ever seen problems with oe racks , new or reman. We did have some problems with the Tundras (08-10). Seems really strange for the rack and tie rods to go out the quick, especially if you’re not beating on it. The P/S fluid is...

What Did You Do With Your 120 Today?

Awesome video, hopefully a customer for life! I had a 2001 Tundra towed in with a broken Timing belt. It has 200k on the original belt and spark plugs. We were all amazed it survived too! Ran like new after a belt and some maintenance.

    Can I tow this?

Glad to hear you guys have your trailers dialed in, this guy doesn’t. That trailer he is using has a lot of tongue weight. I’m not sure if any type of hitch would settle that.

    Can I tow this?

That looks unsafe. Too much tongue weight. Go rent a U haul or a truck. It’s not worth it.

A good transmission cooler would also be on the list!
