    What did you do on your 70 series today?

    This took a few days but I cut off the rear quarter panel, welded a new one on and painted it. I don’t have the darker grey paint, but I just wanted to cover it to protect the metal.

    New water pump today. Old gasket started leaking so I just replaced the whole thing since I had the new pump laying around.

    Has anyone replaced an engine wiring harness and a “floor wiring harness” in a 2006 GX470? I dropped my car off at the dealer because there were a lot of electrical issues and that’s what they said was needing replacement.

    It’s JDM. The gas can came from the previous owner. The exhaust started pouring out white smoke so I pulled over and shut the truck off, had it towed back. It still starts, but either coolant or oil is dripping out of the exhaust pipe.

    1985 BJ70 for sale. Engine is not in working order. I believe the piston rings are shot but I’m not totally sure, could be a blown HG or cracked head/block. It just died today (May 1st). Components that worked before engine died: 4x4, PTO winch, rotary fuel pump, all the engine accessories...

    Yeah Im in Colorado Springs. There was no cat on the truck originally. They didn’t start putting them on diesel trucks until the 2000’s I think.
