I’ve had an intermittent no start and stall. I need to trace it out as well but I got lazy and just put a jumper between the 2 thicker wires and bypass the efi main relay and it runs forever and never stalls or hesitates to start. Replace the circuit opening relay and deleted all the fusible...
i didn't cut any threads off. if you look at that second pic from OP that shows the elbow, there is that nut that looks like it is fixed but it will loosen and minimize the depth that the elbow screw into the radiator. hope that makes sense. dh
Hey fuzzy’s (that’s what we call Garrett) friend. Doctor Hamm here. You Reported positive spark and fuel at the fuel rail. Have you done the simple things like new plugs, wires and checked inside the distributor cap? Also, when you were spraying starter fluid, where were you spraying it in...
Wrong I was. Only way I can get the truck to run is with a jumper on the large wires at the EFI relay. No check engine light without it jumped but starts and runs great with the jumper in. The battery drains down to 2 volts if I leave the jumper on with the battery connected. Uh twice…. Once I...
Amen. Kinda funny that on the bright side, when it’s broken, I have a chance to find the problem. When it’s working perfect, it’s almost impossible to find the cause of the intermittent problem. Life challenges
Got my answer. Drove it 4 hours yesterday. Turned it off and on a dozen times. No problem. Got in it this morning. No spark/no fuel. Fusible link connector delete today…
You’ve been around things for a long time. What are your thoughts?and are you going to mason this week? I work 24 hrs on friday so I probably won’t get to.
That’s what I was thinking as well. So many areas for loss of conduction over time. Thanks for the feedback. I bought a bunch of spade connectors from Toyota matt expecting to redo all of the connectors but then figured out the wire was the fuse not the connectors so I’m kinda bailing out on...
Yep. That’s what I did today and used a tap to clean the threads and grinder on the metal and dielectric grease after snugging it back down. So the question remains, should I delete the connectors on the fusible links as suspect that is where the problem actually lies? I messed with them a lot...
Hey Mudders. I have had an intermittent no start and intermittent sudden dying for the last few months. Runs beautiful and idles perfect when running but suddenly and completely quits with no spark and no fuel. When trying to start during these episodes it sounds like the battery is straining...

Guess I wasn’t much help with the looping black/white connection but thought I’d let you know that I have charged the new 134a conversion (basically just has a new compressor and dryer) and after 1.5 cans of the 134a, the compressor kicked on and I have been running the system off and on for a...
