Question about replacing AHC accumulators vs the whole assembly.

Read the AHC write up on testing the health of your system. My 00 (250k) lasted about 10k after a flush before needing globes so plan on globes and a few liters of fluid. You won't regret the refresh.

    100 series master key thread

Did you check that the panic and unlock pads were reversed on eBay keys? This was the issue with my eBay keys. Once I figured that out they programmed no problem. I took them apart and swapped pads when I got the yotamd fob

Alternator rebuild kit source? Unsure of what's trustworthy

I bought a OEM unit from a bone yard and used this kit https://www.maniacelectricmotors.com/alternator-rebuild-kits-1999-2002-toyota-land-cruiser.html It works well. I'm trying to figure out if I need to do the same again or rebuild the big box one I pulled out to have as a spare. It needs a...

Best replacement radiator for the money today...

just to update....going to have to recommend AVOIDING the KOYORAD. I had to finally replace alternator yesterday after months of intermittent battery lamp illumination and low output. I chose the route of removing fan and shroud to remove through top incase there were issues with connector. I...

    Fuel Injector Insulators- help identifying

These are the three for 2000. What you have pictured sits on the bottom of the injector and creates the seal between injector and manifold. One of your injectors has a rubber cap on the bottom that will need to come off.

    Folding mirrors wont fold back

More than likely wires starting to break in door loom. Mine are hit and miss. One might fold in but not out or both sometimes fold in. If I open the the driver's door a bit they sometimes work sometimes don't. Same with rear windows. Just haven't collected a roll of wire to dig in and repair.

Do Doug Thorley Headers suit RHD?

Check out Rhino Exhaust https://rhinoexhaust.com.au/toyota-100-series-landcruiser-wagon-4-7l-v8-headers-cats/ They are built for RHD but I helped them come up with a solution for the LHD to clear the steering shaft. Theirs comes with insulation tape but I opted to go with this heat shield...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

An A/C clutch is external to the A/C system. It failing would not cause any issues internally. Big magnet behind pulley that pulls the clutch plate to engage with pulley when energized. Get a second opinion

What did you break on your 100 this week?

Have you tried a high quality epoxy and putting the radiator under vacuum so the epoxy works into the crack? Maybe add a heat gun to help the epoxy become more liquid and the plastic expand a bit.

    "Magic Carpet Ride again"

I disagree, I got gloves and fluid last year. The difference they charge is for shipping. You try to guesstimate shipping through weight and dimension. I was pretty close, I think I have a $17 credit.
