As far I know they can. I'm sure there are parts they can't get however. But then the question arrises, why not just buy a new car with fewer issues if you are going to have someone else work on it?
Yes, but as long as you are in there you might as well as pull them all and check them. They are easy to repair if repairable and relatively cheap to replace of not repairable. I found none of them a real problem to get at albeit some flexibility is required. Check and clean the connectors while...
I'm not there so I can't check. If it is not coming on, my guess is that the one of the switches is not working. the low/high switch is the trigger for it to come on. I'd check that first. They are not that difficult to get to and remove. You can test continuity with an Ohm meter,. Check all...
I think that things were so covered in grease that the water never had a chance to get at anything. Although that does not explain the lack of rust on the body.
Interior shots of cargo area, front/dash from rear seat, rear seat and front from side. The rear seats show some cracking. The cargo area seats (not shown since they were removed) do not look like they were used much. The front seats need to be recovered but the foam is not broken down. Not...
I'll grab some more pics tonight when the temps drop below 100. The car has been sitting in the shop next to the boat but the light in there is not enough for good pics.
OR:
Car with with boat and trailer 20,900. Boat is a 14 foot 69 Hewes Craft, trailer is about the same vintage. Both completely refurbished. Hewes Craft is a well known brand that is still in business. They build expensive boats these days. This is a boat from their early years...
Back on the market. Please understand that this is not a 200 with 50k miles on it. There has been a lot of work done but as with these trucks, they can always be taken to the next level. Case in point, steers fine, tracks great does not wander but eventually a Red Head steering box would be...
I picked up one off ebay for 75 bucks. It was DOA. Knocked like a broken crank would. They replaced it and it works well but it is much nosier than it should be. Given what a PITA these are to replace, don't cheap out like I did. I'll be back into it with a year I'm betting.
Since this is a CDL related thread, thought I'd share my transfer case experiences with a 95 FZJ80.
Shifting to low range did not appear to trigger the CDL lock. No noise, No light on the dash for CDL lock and no neutral indicator when xfer case was in neutral.
Installed the CDL switch into...
Resurrecting this thread. Yes indeed it is the zener diode. That link above is invaluable. Thanks for posting it.
Hook the power supply up to the positive/negative (white with black stripe) input side, no lights. Apply the positive power supply lead the the back side of the zener diode and...
I would check frame alignment. That's a hard steel bumper but where he hit you could have cracked some frame welds and pushed the left frame member forward. Probably not but worth checking just in case.
