Located in Jacksonville and looking for a good set of takeoff tires for our new-to-us GX460. The previous owner put it on Grappler 275/70s (with hub spacers and a 2" front lift) and it's not exactly what we want in a daily baby-hauler.
I'm going to be swapping in a 1/2" front spacer in place...
I just returned from a ~1,500 mile round trip and fought this issue nearly the entire time. I'm getting a strange rumble or vibration when the gas pedal is at a very specific position. It almost feels like running over shoulder rumble strips, but not quite as extreme. It's a full car vibration...
Haha - yeah, to be fair I had 275k on my 4.7 4Runner when I sold it a few years ago. As far as I know, it was still on the original fan clutch. My current 200 has the original fan clutch at 205k, so I'm happy to chalk the 100 up as an outlier. 😂
Haha - love it! I think my interest in the NGO/Stripped down look came from a childhood flipping through Nat Geo magazines and getting the ubiquitous white Toyotas lodged in my brain. Do me a favor and only post back photos from now on though, if I see your integrated winch many more times, I...
Lagrange is my go-to at this point for all OEM orders. Since I started ordering with them a year or so ago, they've always offered ~30% off msrp, always had free shipping over $75, haven't charged sales tax, and have always shipped within a few days of ordering. Even when I've had issues with...
Florida to Maine with a couple stops including our previous home state of Rhode Island. 314k > 315.5k miles now on the clock without the slightest hiccup (knock on wood 😂).
How does that work there? In Fla we declare the purchase price via a bill of sale when registering and pay standard sales tax on the purchase price. Obviously it's possible to fudge the number if the seller is willing (or doesn't do a B.O.S. at all,) but if you're going by the book you're paying...
Heading out of town for a couple weeks so I figured I should sneak the catalytic converters into a corner of the warehouse instead of leaving them at the mercy of our front driveway. 😂 nice and snug. 👍🏻
Happy to ship them if needed. I’ve received tires before with simple UPS labels attached before, but it would probably make sense to wrap them with pallet wrap to make sure they don’t get any damage during shipping. Shoot me a PM with your address and I’ll check the shipping cost.
So glad I forgot to check that auction earlier today or I may have been very tempted to jump in. $93k is by far the lowest I've seen an HE go for since I can remember.
