The old guy next door was the 1st owner of my 1980 FJ40. So that makes me the 2sd owner.The truck has 47000 KM's on her.He did not do alot of driving.But it's a Canadain truck so the body is'nt perfect.Had the truck a little over a year, and have been only stocking parts for the resto.

I know a guy who has a Toy Mini truck.And he had troubles when the dizzy got wet.So he puts a hand full of 5th wheel grease over it.
He never has any more troulbes with water.And just keeps and old pair of work gloves handy, for when needed to touch the dam thing.

Well, this SUCKS but my soft top deal fell through.The guy changed his mind.He never even used this top.He had it sitting around.Then when I wanted to buy it.He tried it on.And liked it so much.He wanted to keep it.
Oh well... easy come, easy go.

I'm in the middle of buying a soft top for my 1980 Fj40. It's coming from a guy who has a BJ42.I found out that it should fit with no troubles, from some guys on here( thanks again) The only trouble is, that the owner has never used this top.And is not sure if he has all the hardware( he got it...
