First Vehicle to work on - FJ40

You need to have it blasted before you know the full extent. That rear crossmember area is a classic spot to be the worst area. You may be surprised how good it all is once it’s all cleaned up.

I have a passenger side tire carrier and latch I can be reasoned out of...not planning on using it anymore and it's in good shape. Not sure what the shipping would be to CO though. Do you ever come to the Salt Lake area?

What have you done to your Land Cruiser this week?

@MatthewMcD Mine was already apart, but you would have to either have a valve in the line or drop the coolant level below the heater core level. If you only have rubber lines to/from the core, you could pinch them off with vise grips with a rag or something in the teeth.

Whats the best why to remove and replace seals on a 1973 transfer case?

Get a shop manual and a rebuild kit and get on down the rabbit hole. It likely needs to be done anyway.

What bead roller are you using? FWIW, I welded and brazed my rusted tank and then painted with chassis saver. I'm saving my money for a roll cage and seats!
