I'm out of town for work right now until Friday and my wife called and said the check engine light came on in the 80. It's a '97 with around 100k. I talked here thru plugging in the OBD II code reader and she said the code was a low EGR flow. I searched on the board and didn't see anything on...
I bought a '97 with 98k and lockers recently and paid $16k for it in NC. It was in great condition and was a one owner with all service records from the local Toyota dealer. If you could get it for $14k, I think you would be getting a good deal as long it is as described.

Bring your rig up to Charlotte, NC and I can help you with the brakes and the birf repack. Order your parts from cruiserdan on this board for a good deal. Also, remind your dad that any used vehicle is going to have maintenance that needs to be done to it.

Thanks for the help. I ran up and got a tie rod end puller. I also found my pickle fork. Between them I'm sure I can get it. My wife just took the cruiser up to the grocery store so I'm inside watching the babies.

Anyone know the best way to get the factory steering stabilizer off so I can install an OME? I installed my new OME lift yesterday and forgot to put the steering stabilzer on. I went out this morning and cannot get the stock one off. Oh, this is on a 97. Thanks
