Any chance you’re still willing to sell?? Ordered this exact mat the other night only to be told it’s discontinued and have my order canceled. Will pay for shipping, as well.
Located in Denver, but also willing to pay for shipping. My 05 LX didn’t come with any of the OEM carpet mats, and I specifically need the cargo mat in either color - will take a full set of either though.
Depends on how deep the sub sits, may have to cut out some waffling on the inside. Hooking up the 8-ohm DVC Bazooka today to see if it’s any better than the 8-ohm SVC I put in last week. I’m really wondering how much of a difference using the other 2 wires will make.
Yeah not so much directed at you, and no offense meant. A lot of guys have joined that BFFroip due to being treated poorly here, especially with their questions.
I’d actually never purchased a Bazooka sub but I’ll be damned if it isn’t the perfect remedy with the stock amp, at least. I think...
Well, I think that’s an assumption, and if it is the case I have absolutely no issue with it. Let the people make their money. It also has nothing to do with the wiring of a sub.
This community has become very dormant and the site is extremely antiquated in more ways than one. Personal...
Can’t link to post, as it’s the UZJ100 group on FB. Plenty of write-ups on here on how to remove the rear panel to access the sub cabinet. Simply disconnect on the bottom right of sub box and splice into the red and black - will update if there’s a difference with the DVC 8-ohm once it comes...
Wanted to update you guys - thanks for keeping it fresh:
Ended up ordering the 8-ohm, 10” SVC passive Bazooka from Crutchfield since I’d read on here that I likely had 2 wires with the ML. I ended up having 4 wires in my 05 LX, but I only hooked up the black (positive) and red (negative)...
So did you end up grabbing a Bazooka? I have a ‘05 LX with ML and the refoam helped, big I believe the VC is toast. Since mine is 8-ohm SVC, I’m thinking of grabbing a 8” or 10” Bazooka 8-ohm SVC tube and joining it straight up to the sub wires, disconnecting the factory sub completely. If...
Mine has 2 wires coming in, so it’s an easy hookup. I believe some of the LXs and the LCs have 4, which I’ve attached for you to see.
I’m just wondering if the 10” would be overkill, but it’s responsive from like 6 watts - 400 rms I believe. I’m just thinking about the tube an enclosure, and if...
So I’m thinking of ordering the Bazooka 10” 8-ohm SVC. Seems like that would be ideal, the efficiency is great - just wish it went lower than 39hz, but the “tube” should help with that in the back of the LX. I’m almost thinking the seats being up And it being a 10” will even help give more of...
Everything you just described is basically what I’m looking for! I’m going to just pull the ashtray and grab the cable and have some fun seeing what works with the Bazooka tube. I’m not pulling the whole panel again, just going to research what sub the 05 LX ML has, as I genuinely did not pay...
Following - refoamed my 05 LX ML sub and it sounds like a voice coil issue now. It did sound much better, but it can’t seem to handle any very low frequencies that cause excursion in the driver. It’s possible to get a lot more sound and for it to sound infinitely better without rewiring and...
Just read all 14 pages of this - someone help a brother out:
Refoamed the ML sub on my ‘05 LX. I believe a coil is blown, as I still get a weird metallic sound on certain bass freqs. I’m planning to disconnect the ML sub and use those to power a Bazooka 8” - 8 ohm dvc sub, non-powered. I’ve...
So what’s the verdict on this?
I did the refoam kit on the fronts and sub. Fronts sound great tbh, but the sub...I get the vibe a coil is blown, there’s some type of almost metallic reverb from the sub (not the panel) with certain bass freqs. I’m ready to pull the plug on the 8” Bazooka dvc...
Definitely interested in getting this from you if it’s still available or you have it. Located in Denver. I would need the brackets and anything else that attaches it, IF you happen to have it.
I have a 05 Lexus in the dark grayish-blue color. I am so very torn on whether I like the whale tale or not, but neither of our 100s has any type of spoiler. Go figure.
