They'll get your stuff faster to you than your local dealer that has the parts on the shelf at 2/3 the price.

How important is it to pre-baseline? Looking at buying an '03 LC100

$30k is a lot for spotty maintenance records and an owner that shrugs when you ask what's been done.

    BT45-TOY Issue

I got a dead-on-arrival unit from Amazon years ago for a little cheaper than Crutchfield. I sent it back and ordered through Crutchfield with the warranty. So yes, they can be bad even faster than 6 weeks.

Doug Demuros thoughts on killing the LC.

My favorite part was when he said the tires are pretty old and you should replace them soon since he doesn't know the date code... while sitting right next to the vehicle. Uh, look at the date code? Is it that hard to stick your head under there and look at the other side of the tire where the...

Cruiser Patch 100 Series Products Thread

He's saying that you shouldn't have the Toyota Genuine Parts stamped on the pictures. It's confusing. I agree with him. It should be very clear these are not Toyota OEM parts.

Stalls at idle, starts up again just fine

I had years of intermittent stalling that never gave me any trouble codes. Replaced the fuel pump and filter and would still get stalling. I was able to eventually track it to the MAF sensor through P0172 and P0175 codes. Replaced the MAF sensor and haven't had an issue since.

Cabin air filter size for JDM LC100 VX?

What's in there in the second picture? It looks like you've got a filter installed. I'm just wondering what it looks like side-by-side with the filters that are too long. Or if you could get a part number from it. edit: Is it possible someone took a single filter and stood it upright instead of...

    Help with purchase

I'm confused by the "Solid maintenance records with oil changes, brakes and fluids." but the timing belt was last done 165k miles ago? Replacing Steering Rack. Critical to Replace PS Pump, PS Reservoir, etc.?

My steering rack has been weeping since before I got the vehicle 5 years ago from the driver side boot. Everything else is seemingly fine in the system. Would I regret not replacing the pump, reservoir, and associated lines? It nearly triples the cost of parts when you include the high pressure...

    2006 Engine Braking/Transmission Drag

I think what you're describing is something I've always thought of as normal in my 06 LC. When I drive my girlfriend's F-150 it scares me when I let off the throttle because it feels like there's no deceleration. It takes a few minutes of driving to settle in lol

    2006 Engine Braking/Transmission Drag

I want to say that he was asking with the first question: Did the characteristics of your vehicle change at some point? I've always noticed I need to use the brakes way less than other cars in front of me, and other cars that I've driven.
