    1980 Speedo- ODO cable

    I have a 1980 FJ40. Original 2F. I have had trouble the odometer for as long as I have had the rig. Speedo is fine, but not the odometer. Several years ago I got a new OEM cable from the dealership, and it has never helped. Any suggestions what I did wrong on the install ?

    I’ve got all the speeds on my blower when it decides ….. to blow. So don’t think the resister is the problem No climate control in my ‘93 Still a puzzle. If rough roads seemed to affect it, I’d say it was jiggling a loose wire connection. But it can go off, while we are just sitting.

    I may be wrong, but there might have been acouple different T-cases during the 80 series production run. I recall some folks perplexed with the positioning of the shifter knob. I suspected the Marks adapter was suited for only one of the possible T-cases. (But I could be wrong)
