Soo, I'm holding back on installing my covert bumper on the Sequoia as I'm seeing a bumper more in line with what I want on my rig.
I've chatted a few who've done the conversion - the pluses I see are a higher 'bull bar" and a full face replacement gaining entry clearance. What i'm hearing...
Stock TRDP come with 18in wheels but I'm tempted to try out my 17in with 37s off my LC80.
Before doin all the sweat work on the swap looking to see if there's any intel if this will even work on the Gen 3 rigs... I definitely want the meatier tire look but also don't want my calipers to shave...
random question- travelling from NC to NV next year (sans my LC80/ gen3 sequoia) and was curious if there's any good rental areas for a rig (wont need to be fully overland capable- but do want offroadable). I'm planning the loop zion> antelope> angels> etc...

I'm a stranger to these parts but am looking to research more about mods and limitation to the 3rd gen Sequoia TRDP as I'm hoping to add to the fleet very soon.
Anyone know of specific channels here or even elsewhere that has some good activity on Sequoias? I only really know the FJ80 forum...
The other weekend I changed out my diff oil and sludge gooped out as a result to leaky axle seals...I've done the work prior on a 94 LC and really don't have the time or enough stock in shop towels to work on my 97. Any mechanic recs to do this type of work in the area?

Did the distro,plugs, wires today and found # 6 basically filled with oil...
Rig ran like a champ prior and after all the PM, seems to run even better.
Should I be concerned with #6 and it deluge of life juice??
