I took a corned beef, rubbed it with my brisket rub minus the salt and smoked it for 10 hours. For samiches, I put it on a French roll, with some Swiss cheese and put it in the toaster oven at 350 for 4 minutes. I then put on a small amount of Dijon mustard and toped with deli coleslaw...
I just got a new HVAC system installed and I think it would be nice to complete it with a UV air Purifier. There is not a lot of information about these but the HVAC guy highly recommended one and told me that I could save a lot of $$$ installing it myself. I read that you need at least a 36...

We had a storm with 80 mph winds and the neighbors tree is down. Now when it starts, it runs for a few seconds and dies. I noticed that there is a vacuum in the fuel tank when I remove the cap. Before I take a small metric drill bit and drill a hole in the gas cap, is there another place...
I need to replace my AC Condensor. It looks like the radiator needs to be moved back in order for the condensor to come out. Do you just remove the 2 bolts holding the radiator to the frame and move it back a bit? Does the fan need to come off? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
I had the HVAC guy out to add some freon to the AC. Our system is 14 years old and were told that the expected life is 12-15 years. The sales guy came out and quoted us $10K+ on on a new Lenox high efficiency system with a 2 stage A/C. I about choked and told him that was way too much...

Just got the :princess: one with the 24" cutter for an early mothers day gift. It replaced a 12 year old weed eater model. What kind of lubricant should I spray on the cutter? i.e. PAM, white lithium grease etc.
I got my wife a Hitachi chainsaw for christmas. I think it is made by Tanaka. I got it from Woot and it was around $70 after rebate. It wont start due to lack of spark. I tried another plug out of something that runs and still no spark. I checked the switch to make sure it functions...

The inducer motor on my furnace was starting to make a horrible noise. A service call to replace this ranges from $600 to $800. I found the motor on-line for $75 and replaced it myself. I had to disassemble the fan housing and in the process tore the gasket. I am starting to have second...
I made a smoked Chuck Roast per the link below and it was excellent! Took the leftovers and pulled it and mixed a small amount of BBQ sauce (still had the smoke flavor) and and made some samiches.

My generator finally has a few hours of service on it and I am getting ready to change the oil. I would like to put synthetic in it since it may sit of a year or more before it is used again. I am not sure if it has enough hours on it in order to be properly broken in. If I switch too...
Got a flyer today with 120 Amp mig & flux welder for $149. My farmer friend who does a lot of metal fabrication does not recommend it. I would probably use it a couple times a year so I can't justify a Miller or Lincoln etc. Any advice on this? Thanks in advance for your suggestions...
I am making a turkey breast for Xmas since no one in my family likes dark meat. In the past I have rubbed it with oil and seasoning salt and put it in my Holland Grill for a few hours. I am not sure if I want to deal with the grill in the middle of winter. I saw some recipes for cooking one...
