    Turn Signal Issue

I'm in the process of wiring everything up to the new wiring harness (Kwik Wire) for my 72 FJ40 and have an interesting issue going on. I have also installed a new turn signal on the column and thought I had everything wired up properly per the various diagrams that I have been using. My issue...

Wanted  Metal spring for FJ40 driver's seat

Would love to replace all of the springs in my driver and passenger side seats, but would settle for replacing the one metal spring that has been broken as you can see in the photograph below. Does anyone know of a company that sells these springs new? Thanks in advance!

Trouble getting 72 FJ40 seats disassembled

So as we are going about cleaning up these sliders, the thought occurred to me that we might get them sliding so well that the seats are sliding back and forth. As you can see on the photos before I got them to release, one of the seats had a spring and release handle that you would use to let...

Trouble getting 72 FJ40 seats disassembled

The PB Blaster worked! I coated the rails good and then was able to tap with a rubber mallet to get it to slide enough to reveal the nut. Thanks for the suggestion! Now lots of cleanup, repaint, and then recover!

Trouble getting 72 FJ40 seats disassembled

We have gotten our new seat covers and cushions in and have been taking off the original seat covers and pads. On the bottom of each of the frames, we are having trouble getting the bottom seat off of the bottom of the frame. It appears that they are supposed to slide, but the rust will not...

Do I have to remove steering wheel to install new turn signal?

Guys I have a steering wheel puller and every how to video I watch has a steering wheel that has 2 places for bolts to screw into and, as you can see from my photo I do not have those. How do I use the puller without those holes?

    Back up light wiring help

I tested the switch and it is bad. Went to AutoZone thinking it was a universal part and when I got it home it is too small to fit. Does anyone know based on my image if this is original with the 72 FJ40? Have a Chevy 350 and not sure if PO replaces tranny as well. Does anyone know where I can...
