    Aftermarket bumper vs. OEM

I don't imagine you'd need documentation. You had an original, it should be replaced with an original. The aftermarket ones are likely nearly identical but fitment is likely slightly off, and the paint adhesion is likely not as good. Gussets and support material will likely be different as well.

    Aftermarket bumper vs. OEM

I'd just get OEM because why settle for a lesser aftermarket plastic bumper. You always want it to be repaired back to original or better (subjective on metal etc).

    KAMDESIGNSTUDIOS 1stGen Offerings

Glad it's working out for you. Those two front nuts are very hard to access and the weird sitting while install isn't pleasant one bit. But once it's in, it's nice and firm. The drill jig lines up with the edge of the dash hud, but I wish I had designed it to also line up with the lip where the...

    KAMDESIGNSTUDIOS 1stGen Offerings

Thank you! It's been a work in progress learning how to design all these things. Regarding the dash mount - it's been super stable. I have my iPad pro 11" attached to mine. It's bolted through the dash and I use nylock and conical washers to lock it on place. It also contacts the dash subframe...

    locking gas cap

But honestly, drilling into the tank is way easier to steal gas. Gravity fed. Everyone has a drill too.

I'd just drill into the oem panel and use lock https://www.mcmaster.com/locks/cam-locks-and-latches/circular-keyway-cam-locks-12/

    Stolen catalytic converters

I'd go through insurance since it's theft. Replace with oem. Get a cat shield.

    1st Gen 05 build

Nothing big, but just some new products I'm bringing to the 1stgen platform. Everything is still in the works, but here's some previews. Rear Accessory Bracket (not 1stgen Tundra compatible) Mirror Ditch Lights Rear Ladder (not 1stgen Tundra compatible) 3rd Row Molle Panels (not...

1st or 2nd Gen Tundra for using like an actual truck?

Personally, I'd go for a 2nd gen Crew Cab. For some reason, the 1stgens are going for an insane amount of $ compared to the earlier year 2nd gens. I believe people stay away from the 07-10 years of the Tundra for some engine reason, but also because it's ugly and the 2.5gen have that modern...

Bolt on rock sliders for 1st gen Sequoias

Bolts to factory step locations. Photos only show static load, not dynamic so its quite dangerous imo. There's a reason the industry uses weld to frame sliders. BFF also offers a hybrid bolt / weld kit for their sliders.

I don't post many trips up because I don't take too many photos, but here's one where I had my camera. Went through Joshua Tree with the boys.

    KAMDESIGNSTUDIOS 1stGen Offerings

Hello! My name is Joseph, and in my free time, I design products for the 1stgen platform. Since 2019, I've envied that other vehicles have so much aftermarket support, and so, I decided to make my own parts. I've also offered these parts to other members on FB groups, but figured a post here...
