6.5l.td
rtarh2o, if your cruiser is not suspension lifted you will have some trouble fitting the 6.5 td. The orginal turbomanifold interfears with the shock tower on the frame. My yoda is (or was) lifted ca 18cm on suspension so I lowerd the shock tower to fit the engine. A 5cm body lift would...
Hi again. I like the prize on that 1HD-FTE and shiping from sweden to denmark probably cheep. It is a very nice engine (same block as 1HDT new head and pistons), quiet and will last another 200+k. If it is from a 80 seris cruiser it has a simple one wire hookup, but the 100 seris cruiser has a...
Iceland calling
Hi there Christian. Go for the 12HT it is the strongest yoda engine so far and very simple install. If you have a lot of mony a 1HD-T 20-25psi boost and a BIG intercooler and BIG exhaust....But then you need a dana 60 rear and stronger this and that. I have blown up two 1HD-T...
1KZ
The only problem is the trasnsfercase, the front driveshaft is left side and your truck has both diffs on the right side. The wireing is easy. A 12HT is the engine for this very nice yoda.
Very nice
All it needs is a ArcticTrucks 4link coilspring rear suspension and original coilspring front system for a more comfotable ride. Other than that PERFECT. Mabe a litle bit taller tires.:)
20psi
12 years ago I had a bj-42 3b 38"tyres and stuffed a turbo/intecooler on it and 20psi. Sold it 4 years later and it is still going strong to day. So 14 psi is not bad for a 13BT engine.
38"DC-44"dc
Hi there. Here is mine on 38"DC for summer and i use 44 in the winter. 14cm lift and a lot of fender hacking. Back axle moved back 13cm, spring and shock braked mowed back and longer suspension arms.
Hi there from Iceland. My frend has a 93 1HD-T diesel with 520.000.kilometers on it, normal maintanance. It had about 130.000km when he got it.:flipoff2: Beat that.
