I’m hoping that someone can share some info that can help me troubleshoot an issue with my wife’s GX460.
The hazard warning flasher doesn’t work (no response to depressing the appropriate push button).
I‘d read somewhere that a loose connector at the back of the radio was the issue with one...
I’m hoping that someone can chime in and help me find two pretty highly recommended solutions that were posted about say a year or so ago on this forum.
I bought the roll up version for my LX and the typical folded version for my wife’s GX. Both were around $60 IIRC.
I went with 18” LC wheels. And replaced the Toyota caps with Lexus versions. Not especially fond of the looks but getting used to them.
The ride on the 21’s, over city chuckholes, was too jarring for me.
Thanks everyone for your responses. I’m definitely going to get a WD hitch now.
I’m leaning towards the Camco Recurve because if TeCKis300 speaks, I listen :) There may be a delivery issue but I will check around tomorrow.
Or maybe this……...
I’m picking up a Lance 2185 and will be towing it back home (400 miles) with a 2018 LX570. I’ve been learning a lot about what’s needed and already have a Tekonsha P3 brake controller on its way to me. And I’ve never towed a TT (or anything else other than a small car - flat tow).
Today, the...
Thanks for your FLX build write ups and organized links. Great info.
Might an LX750h be in the running? Of course, we will need to see what is ultimately offered to us in the US. But 500 hp (or more) and new technology sounds enticing.
Yes, you could be wrong about that TeCKis300 but I’d put my money on your observation. Your suggestions/posts/responses are much appreciated by this community. 👍👍
Looking at the cartoon above got me to decide and chime in. Quite a few years ago, I took my LX470 to the local Lexus dealer for some service. When I picked it up, they informed me that they noticed that the engine was idling a bit rough so they replaced the injection system, including the...
Congratulations!
It‘s great that she liked driving it and that they addressed her concerns about luggage capacity. So now you have a new addition to the family and a happy wife!
Correct, I‘ve never noticed it but that’s just me.
Our only vehicle that doesn’t have Michelins is my wife‘s GX. It was a CPO and came with new tires. Once they need replacement I’ll likely get Michelins. Who knows, maybe I can learn to change ;)
Another vote here for the Defenders. I’ve got the same size on my LX 570 and other sizes on the 96 LC and 2003 LC.
And in the past were LTX M/X 2 and before that were LTX M/S. I’ve been very happy with Michelins, ever since getting our first LC (for the wife).
I’ll look for the same or similar crossbars. They are aftermarket and I believe that they are made in China. It’s funny, I could have sworn that I got them from eBay but the transaction doesn’t show up in my history.
How do you strap laterally? I guess that you can only strap to the crossbars...
Filled up today when the displayed range was 3 miles. It took 22.04 gallons. So based on what my LX is telling me via its readings, I’ll presume that there’s a little more than 2 gallons in reserve when range = 0
