    What vacuum line attaches here?

I'm about to get my Fj62 finished, but in six months I've forgotten what vacuum line attaches here. I've searched the FSM to no avail. Once I get this done I turn the starter, so please help!!

    FJ-62 transmission cooling hose fittings

Randy, I need the fittings that are on the radiator itself. The transmission lines attach to them. If you have those it would be great! John, I'll contact SOR too. Thanks for the info!!

    FJ-62 transmission cooling hose fittings

My radiator was stolen as I was rebuilding my FJ-62. I bought a new radiator but the fittings for the transmission cooling lines are discontinued from Toyota. Does anyone have an old crapped-out radiator lying around that I can buy the fittings from it, or have a lead on sourcing these...

    Coolant Hose Kit

Does anyone carry a complete coolant hose kit for the FJ-62? I did a search and couldn't find anything. I'm replacing the water pump and the cylinder head so I might as well replace all the coolant and heater hoses while I'm in there.

    OEM vs. aftermarker H2O pump

I think I'll have the radiator professionally flushed while the Cruiser is down. Also it would be a great time to replace all hoses. The most dramatic thing I've done so far is I replaced the injectors. Made a huge difference in the behavior and performance of the car. Highly recommended...

    OEM vs. aftermarker H2O pump

Glad to see another thread on this . I just received my water pump, gasket and belts from Beno today. Man, if I knew what a bear of a job this was, the water pump doesn't come off unless you remove the power steering pump/air conditioning bracket. Since I'm this far, I might as well do the...

    R.I.P. Moby

I'm very sorry to see another FJ62 bite the dust. Perhaps like others have said you can rebuild, then change the name from Moby the Great White Whale to Phoenix, out of the ashes!!

    TPS connection

The electrical connector to the TPS is giving me problems again. The truck cuts off randomly and if I even slightly wiggle the connection to the TPS it kills the engine. I've had this problem before and used another plug from a throttle body I bought from another IH8MUD member. It has worked...

    Head Gasket Replacement Write Up

I'll be watching this thread closely as I tore down my FJ-62 last week for an exhaust manifold replacement only to discover a big crack in my head. Replacement head and Remflex manifold gasket on the way, as well as an intake hose that was also cracked. Good to see pics of what I'll be dealing...

    pressure testing injectors/fuel rail FJ-62

Nedver mind, traced it to the supply pipe fitting on the fuel rail. Still a b**tch trying to fix the leak, new brass washers, nice clean surfaces and it's still squirting like mad. :bang:

    pressure testing injectors/fuel rail FJ-62

Hey guys, I'm having a heck of a time with my FJ-62. I have put it back together and when I engage the starter I am hemorraging fuel from around the injectors and fuel rail. I have disassembled and assembled it twice now, checked the fuel line, regulator, pulsation damper, and fuel rail itself...

Getting ready to change exhaust manifold gasket - anything else while I'm there?

Well, tore the exhaust manifold off today and found a crack in the cylinder head, just in front of the #3 air injection nipple. I think I may have found the cause of my exhaust leak! I am halfway through putting it back together until another head arrives as this is the wife's daily driver...

    Wanted  3FE cylinder head

Went to do an exhaust manifold gasket change and discovered a crack in my head. No fluid leakage but it needs to be changed.
