    Has anyone flat-towed their fj40 with the new Tacoma? I am interested in using mine to tow to/fro the trails, mechanic, etc. I know they are rated at 6500 max, but is this going to be hard on the Trans, body, engine, etc. I have a manual trans in mine.

    Cold blooded.

    Does anyone know the actual warmed-up running temp (F) range for a 2F engine ? I'm running an OEM gauge and it doesn't show the actual temp. I'd like to retrofit w/ an aftermarket gauge if possible, who stocks these?

    You might want to invest in a Mean Green heavy duty starter. They can take more abuse from long cold-starting rev cycles. You might (possibly) be keeping the ignition key turned after the engine has already started, even for a small amount of time. This would beat up a starter real quick...

    Yep, pepboys has it on long coils, you can get any length desired, sold by the foot. I keep a few extra feet in the spares kit incase some goes bad while out and about....:idea:

    Hi All

    The owner I purchased from put the apron emblems & mirrors on. Don't know about the fuel door. I recently installed a 22 gal. tank, we routed the fill cap in back behind the spare.
