    That is a good point. Sometimes the best solution is the most obvious one. From my time in Michigan, I found only one solution to be better than snow tires. And I haven't been back in 14 years.

    Any tip on getting front crank seal out? I've damaged it quite bad

    Ouch. I think I'd put a self tapper through the meat of the seal (not too deep!) and pull it out using a pair of vice grips. Be careful not to damage the bearing surfaces. It could be just the photos, but I'd think twice about using that puller any more.

    A lapse in judgement may have been made. But: LX > lithium pedal car. And if you replace the globes, they won't offgas.
