Thanks Everyone for your replies, and Sorry for the late response. I am just getting back onto this forum. I tried packing the knuckles again and it helped. Breaks and calipers are good. It now happens when it's mostly cold out now. My plan is to just monitor and wait for now. Once I Get...
Thanks! It’s been a labor of love and I love how it’s turned out. Yeah if you want to add a third go for it. I don’t think it will hurt. I will say that it’s pretty solid. I go over some pretty rough roads at speed and I’ve taken it in some moderately technical and off camber stuff and it did...
I have a V2 GFC rtt in my 1994 LC and I noticed very little noise and saw no MPG drop. I noticed a lot of mpg drop when I went from 31” tires to 33”. I went from 13mpg to 11mpg HWY now with the GFC and the 33”. As far as handling goes, maybe a little more but I also redid my suspension and added...
I am having trouble locating a whining noise coming from the front end. About 1 month ago while in Montana, I noticed my 1994 Land Cruiser (164kmiles) began having a whining noise when I first started rolling and it peaked in volume at about 20mph. It would go away after about 3-5 min and not...
Update: It was the Windshield gasket. The glass shop I took it to three times told me it wasn't. Then I got a crack in my windshield and they took it out and said my gasket was shot. They replaced the gasket and problem fixed!
yes good reminder! I did check them last year and cleaned them out and found that one was disconnected even and just dumping water on the headliner in the rear passenger compartment.. I eliminated a few leaks by fixing and cleaning that but there is still this one leak that persists.
Yeah I checked that and it looked pretty dry. It appears to be coming from a screw near the inner panel of the dash. I'm going to try and pull off the gutter trim and see if there is a rust spot or something causing it to leak. I thought i Nailed it down after sealing the windshield again but...
Thanks for the information!
I was wondering how important the Louver assemblies are to replace? The p/n 62906-60020 and 62905-60020.
They are each around $90 a piece and just curious if they help in preventing water intrusion.
So I found out one of my sunroof drains was completely disconnected from the sunroof which is why it was soaking the rear drivers side pillar when it rained. I'm sealing the windshield tomorrow and I'll test it after that. Hopefully that fixes all the leaks!
So I got the hose out and had water pouring in down the firewall it appeared (see First pics) when the hose was mid windshield
I also had watercoming in the rocker panels from the electrical wires from the door panel. It appears the rocker panels just drain out the bottom, correct? I don’t...
Thanks so much! I think I'm going to go down the windshield path as it seems like that is the likely culprit. I might just try and seal it until I have the chance to send it in for a full windshield/seal replacement. What kind of sealant did you use? I used something to attempt to seal the...
I really don't know if the windshield has been replaced as I've only owned it for 1 year and the records do not report a replacement. So they need to place sealant under the window eh... the rubber gasket around the windshield is very tight and doesn't appear to be loose whatsoever. I don't'...
Hello everyone, I’m new to posting here but I have a problem with water getting into my front passenger floor board and it appears to be coming from somewhere in the pillar possibly. I checked the sunroof drains, sealed the sunroof all with no success. Are there any weak points in the fender or...
