    For sure, all valid points The only advantage I see is maybe having more surface area and easier mounting options, two smaller coolers instead of one larger one. But the introduction of more points of leaking is obviously not ideal Thanks guys. Prolly will just swap out the factory cooler if need be

    Is there any harm in having two coolers in series? I've added the factory cooler to mine now, but I've been thinking of acquiring a heavier trailer and I think I wouldn't mind maybe adding a Hayden 679 in series.

    You might be better off just cutting the side steps and picking up 5th gen 4Runner side steps for next to nothing, there's a bunch on CL where I live.

    I hear that all GX460s are wired for the front illuminated door sills... I also hear that only the 2010-2013 models were prewired and not the newer ones. Can anyone confirm? I have a late 2021 (built 7/21) and would like to add these in. Thanks.

    I just installed mine today and drove it for about 10 miles. Definitely about 10-20 degrees cooler at speed, not really any different in stop and go city driving. Overall happy with the results.     It's fine. I've got a KO2 265/70/R17 on a TRD Off-Road 4Runner wheel under mine with the factory big hitch, fully inflated. It never touches the bar, but it looks close.
