okay everyone ... my problem is the switches are all on and set to cold .... THE CLUTCH IS NOT COMING ON!!! i cant check pressures correctly with out the clutch working. .... with a power 12v feed to the relay socket or a power probe directly to the wire going into the clutch it comes on. ...
Okay well checked the relay and it's fine .... With the the A/C BUTTON PUSHED, blower on high, i used a wire to jump 12v from the battery to the relay socket and the clutch works fine and blows cold ...
So the "m i r h t r" mirror heater? Relay is directly next to it same part number so I...
Hooked up a pressure gauge and low pressure side was reading 100 PSI without the compressor running. With the vehicle turned off using a power probe we fed 12 volts to the clutch wire and the clutch would work that way so now I'm thinking potentially a problem with the relay.
The mechanic I...
yes i do ... i did take the caps of the ports and on the low side when i poked the valve in the port just a tiny bit of air came out then so oily liquid sprayed .... on the high side it just seemed like a lot of air/pressure and no thing else
I know it sounds dumb but I wasn't able to locate the AC fuse whenever I was looking around the truck it wasn't under the hood behind the battery or down by the driver's feet. Could you tell me where it's at please so I can check.
I did unplug what I believe was the pressure switch. Behind...
It was a little bit warm today after work. So I tried to turn on the air conditioning on my '99 Land Cruiser and it did not cool off at all. Outside temperature was showing to be 81*F and the soil temperature gauge I have mounted inside one of my vents was showing the same with the blower on...
I'm having a similar issue where mine vibrates and resonates 60mph and above. It is not RPM dependent. I've previously had the rear drive shaft refurbished with new u-joints and rebalanced about a year ago so I'm pretty sure it's not the rear drive shaft. I pulled out my front drive shaft and...
Thank you everybody for your feedback but the drive shaft shop got me the repair done the following morning and I wasn't willing to pay overnight shipping for them to get here and then wait another day to have the drive shaft shop install them and balance it. I need ed to get it back together...
I dropped off my drive shaft to get new u-joints and rebalanced because it was the cause of my driveline vibration. They were having a hard time finding the correct u-joints and after taking measurements they found that dimensionally these are the same as the factory oe joints that came out of...
Some people just choose to be negative online cause they can hide behind the keyboard/internet and there is little to no repercussions.
As you pointed out with his own words he has proven himself to be a hypocrite. .... 🥳
But to follow up to my post. I did a warranty exchange and got a new...
A gorilla at work still gets the job done just as effective. Minor paint chips on the powder coating of those cast iron parts has no effect on drivability or service life. You make a fair point with the brake bleed but I can't fathom a dust cap missing would cause a caliper failure...
I'm sure this has been discussed before but right now I am extremely frustrated on this Christmas Day after installing my third CV axle in 3 months last night only to find out today when I arrived at my family's house for festivities I have checked out the install from last night and discovered...
Got this installed in a temporary position yesterday before driving to work. Confirmed 100% my speedometer was reading three ish miles per hour slow because of my 33 inch tires on my 100 series Land cruiser. On the way home I followed the instructions and after stopping three times for minor...
A little bit of feedback after I did my mod I actually went back to the factory OE setting. I guess my valve in the 100 series is different from the 80 series. I didn't notice any major differences initially but I did find out when putting it in reverse the transmission would hesitate ever so...
