For Sale [NC] D-ring Bumper Shackles

Each one weighs 4.2 pounds, so they are pretty substantial. I would think the bolts attaching them would be the weakest point.

    Horn Issue

I did as you suggested and no sound from the horns when grounding the S terminal. I reconnected the wires like I had before and the horn sounded when I grounded the S terminal. I looked at your web site and the two wiring diagrams you have linked. They seem to show the terminals connected to...

    Horn Issue

I hooked it up as you suggested and neither the horn button or the turn signal caused the horn to work. I rechecked the wiring diagram from the Haynes manual and it showed the G/R to B, G/Y to S and G/W to H so I think I had it connected properly the first time. I'm guessing it has something...

    Horn Issue

Thanks for the reply, No, I do not need to push the horn button to get the horn to sound when I turn on the left turn signal, just the turn signal it's self cause it to sound. I'll try and hook it up using your connections points and let you know.

    Horn Issue

I am having a problem with my horn on my 77' FJ40. It hasn't worked since I bought it last year so I thought I would try and get it working. First thing I found was it had no relay so I purchased a new OME relay. I found the three connection wires on the right side, above the fender. I also...

    Using hard top bikini style

Well, I sat the hard top on my roll cage yesterday, sorry no photos, and the general opinion was that it did not look good. My daughter made a comment that it looked like a hard hat. I think I'm going to try to find a pair of hard top sides and cut the widows opening out larger and try that...

    Using hard top bikini style

Thank's for your input. I'm going to take my hard top and set it on the family roll cage to see what I'll have to do to attach it. I think I will like it more than the Bikini I'm using now.

I thought about using an older set of side panels also. It would make it easy to get the proportions right.

Thanks Guys for the photos. Cooney - I really like the looks of that truck. Since I have a family roll cage, this looks like it would be easy to do. I'll post some photo's when I get it done. Thanks again, everyone.
